This is one of my favorite things: Doctor Kracker crackers

Doctor Kracker crackers are organic, whole grain, and without chemicals or partially-hydrogenated vegetable oil. And they are delicious. I've only tried the seeded spelt, but I'm confident the other flavors are equally good. I love having a crunchy, healthy carb to eat with cheese or meat or hummus or whatever.

This is one of my favorite things: Brita Water Cooler

Three or four years ago we bought a Brita Water Cooler at Target for $100. I like a ready supply of filtered, cold water and had been relying on Brita pitchers, which are cumbersome considering they must be refilled just about every time they are use. But I liked the taste of the water. Our purchase of the Water Cooler was not planned. We saw it and noted it used standard filters, so we bought it. It stands in the corner of our kitchen, dispenses both hot and cold water, and, with a 3.5 gallon jug, is easy to refill. Yes, we must replace the filters every so often, but they do go on sale at Target regularly so it is easy to stock up. Apparently, it has been discontinued by Brita, which is a shame. Amazon still has a picture of one available, but ours is white and the styling is a little different.

This is one of my favorite things: Pacsafe Metrosafe 200

First Oprah did it, then Christopher did it, now I'm doing it. For awhile, I've been thinking about occasionally writing about products I love. Today I start.

I love Pacsafe's Metrosafe 200. I've been using this bag for travel for a few years and it doesn't show a single sign of wear. What I like best is that I can sling it over the front of my body, lock the front zipper and walk through a crowd without much worrying about the contents. The strap and body panels are reinforced with metal to make them slash proof and the locking zipper means hands stay out of my bag. It is big enough for a camera, water, map, guide book, extra batteries, wallet, comb, pen paper. But it isn't too big. It fits nicely at my hip. It is also pretty unisex (particularly in black). I have seen men carrying these. The price is also good at $60 considering the years of use that are possible.
